Meet our Executive Team

Jason Saunders - President

Jason started his career with a Diesel Technologies and Business Management Associates Degree from Wyoming Technical Institute in Laramie Wyoming. He immediately went into an Industrial and commercial power generation career with Caterpillar. He worked for Holt of California for 5 years as a Field service mechanic working on prime and temporary power systems in mission critical type settings. Jason transferred his skills as a mechanic to IES in 2008 and worked a as field service technician for 3 years. With his knowledge and focus on customer service he took on a position in sales and customer service for 2 years. Jason sold both construction and service projects to Sacramento based customers. In 2012, Jason moved into a service management role and oversaw the Service Department for the Sacramento division and a year later accepted the role as Service Operations Manager for all divisions. Jason was responsible for all service revenue in all offices. His responsibilities included management of central dispatch, billing, and quoting. Jason has moved into the General Management position after 13 years with the company. He currently is responsible for all of IES’ lines of business and is responsible for daily operations and customer service. Jason enjoys competition BBQ, fishing, and building cars in his free time.

John Anderson - CFO

Having lived as a Sacramento native John Anderson knows the Northern California community well. Leading financial teams in the construction industry for the past 25 years with over 40 years of experience in all areas of finance, accounting, corporate strategy, and compliance. Graduating from college in 1983 with two Bachelors of Science degrees, Accounting and Management Information Systems, Mr. Anderson’s role with Indoor Environmental Services continues to be the leader of the financial team but also draws upon his years of experience in Executive Leadership collaborating with the Executive Team developing and implementing the Strategic Plan of the organization. Having his first Controllership role at the age of 22 Mr. Anderson has been responsible for organizations with 650 employees and revenue of 250 million. In addition, his experience includes the implementation of multiple ERP transitions as well as the continuous improvement of procedures, processes, and systems. It is his goal to improve the quality of each and everyone’s work experience by implementing tools that remove the repetitive tasks and allow the team to focus on adding value to the organization and professional growth to the team. His true allegiance is to the customer and is committed to doing the right thing while providing exemplary service to the marketplace. Mr. Anderson has held Financial Leadership positions during his career in the Restaurant, Hospitality and Finance, as well as the following construction industries, new home, Renewable Energy, Electrical and HVAC. Active in many professional organizations including Construction Financial Management Association and has provided support for many charitable organizations including, Families for Early Autism Treatment, Lymphoma and Leukemia Society, The First Tee of Sacramento, Make a Wish as well as providing continual support for two youths abroad.

Andrew Gerhard - Director of HR & Safety

Andrew Gerhard is a native to the Northern California region. He graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a B.S. in Business Administration, and a Finance concentration. In 2005, Andrew joined the team at Indoor Environmental Services as an administrative coordinator. In 2012 he took the lead roles of Safety and Human Resources. His successes at IES include multiple years with zero recordable incidents, achieving an industry lowest EMR for insurance, acquisition of Company benefits and commercial liability policies, the Company being voted one of the Best Places to Work by Comstock’s magazine of Sacramento, coordination of policies and procedures across five offices throughout California with as many as 360 employees, and Executive support throughout mergers and acquisitions. As the current Director of Safety and HR Andrew has a continued focus on making IES one of the best and safest places to work while incorporating operational growth into the daily routine. In his spare time, Andrew is an avid equestrian and has competed in over one hundred endurance events. Additionally, he served on the board of governors for multiple local non-profit trail organizations and the national non-profit board for endurance (AERC).

Robert Harlow - Director of Operations Sacramento/Northern California

Robert has 40+ years in the HVAC Mechanical industry, Robert was basically born into the HVAC world as his father was one of the leaders in our industry. Like his dad, Robert has embraced knowledge most don’t strive to achieve. His experience aids our Customers our Employees and the Company so that we achieve uncommon results.

Robert oversees all Operation responsibilities for the Sacramento/Nor Cal area based in Sacramento, from field projects installation personnel to proper installation and execution of all projects work. Robert also has the responsibility to keep personnel trained with the most current installations techniques and equipment types. He is responsible for all Project Managers to manage projects to maintain customer satisfaction and meet anticipated completion dates. He maintains the IES philosophy of customer satisfaction and proactive interaction for long-term customer relationships.

Dale Andrew - Director of Operations Bay Area

Mr. Andrew has 30+ years in the HVAC Mechanical industry, with first-hand installation and supervisory experience with Hospitals, Schools, Labs and Clean Rooms, Commercial Kitchen Hoods, Multi-story building, Shop fabrication, 3D Computer detailing, BIM Modeling & Coordination, Large Multi-story buildings, and simple tenant improvements. Mr. Andrew has served most of his career in HVAC related leadership positions.

Lee Lockridge - Director of Business Development & Marketing

Lee has spent his career in the industry serving in various capacities including Technical, Sales, Management, and Executive Leadership roles. He brings a high level of solution-based knowledge to our customers.

As the Director of Business Development and Marketing, I have the great privilege of leading an amazing group of professionals that prides themselves on putting our customers first. Whether they are developing the right project solutions or customizing a maintenance program, the team stays focused on creating outcomes that lowers owning and operating costs while extending equipment life expectancies.

Jeff Walling - Service Manager

Jeff is a native of Northern California and has been working in the industry for 15+ years. Graduating in 2008 from Saint Mary’s College of California with a B.A. in Communications, Jeff started his career with one of the country’s largest general construction outfits. During his time there, he was exposed to many aspects of the industry, including, Business Management, Business Development, Mechanical Field Engineering, Environmental Project Management & Estimating. Jeff brought that experience to IES in 2014 as a Project Manager. Overseeing projects varying in size and complexity, Jeff was ultimately responsible for all aspects of the project from preconstruction to closeout.

Throughout his career, he has partnered with private, local municipalities as well as state and federal customers. Jeff also has developed his sales knowledge by helping entities secure state funded opportunities for their projects. In 2023, Jeff was excited to take on the role as Service Manager for IES. His experience in the industry coupled with his commitment to excellent customer service, Jeff looks to lead the Service Team to continued success. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, traveling, watching sports, but most importantly spending time with his family.
